About Tree Hill
We are a privately owned and independently operated Early Childhood Education Center.
We strive to cultivate a community that puts the children in our care first, while also supporting their families, and our staff.
We have created a distinctive atmosphere and a curriculum that is without comparison in the East Vancouver area.
Your child's care and education is of the utmost importance to us.
Our ultimate goal is to enable each child to have fun, explore, and have the freedom to express their individuality while providing a solid foundation for their future academic success.
We are a community that values kindness and respect for each other, our school, the environment and the world around us.
From our little Seedlings, to our big Redwoods, we offer your child a nurturing, supportive and stimulating environment in which they can grow and blossom into self confident, self reliant, and positive young people.

About dana
Dana Christiansen is a dedicated childcare professional and community advocate who is passionate about enhancing early childhood education. As a mother of three—Blake, Joseph, Allyson—and stepmother to Alex, family is at the heart of Dana's life and work.
After securing a full-ride tennis scholarship, Dana graduated from Portland State University with a degree in Child and Family Studies, specializing in administration. For the past 25 years, she has been at the forefront of early childhood education as an owner and director. Her journey as an owner began in Eugene, Oregon, and continued in Camas, Washington, where she took over an existing school in 2008. In 2014 Dana rebranded the school as Tree Hill Learning Center. In 2020, Dana expanded her vision by establishing a second location in Vancouver, building on Tree Hill’s strong reputation in the community.
Dana's commitment to improving childcare extends beyond her schools. She serves on the board for the Washington State Childcare Center Association, where she engages in advocacy and legislative efforts to uplift the childcare sector across the state.
Furthering her dedication to education, Dana founded the Tree Hill Family Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting Clark County high school students and current staff pursuing an associate degree in early childhood education through scholarships.
Dana Christiansen's work echoes her belief in the transformative power of education and her commitment to supporting children and families in the critical ages from birth to 5.
